When USA retail giants Sears made the decision to radically change the way they deliver their catalogues they got in touch with Ceros and FMG.
We proposed designing and developing a bespoke interactive publication - the Sears Baby catalogue Cradle And All - and integrating full e-commerce facilities via the Sears website API. For the first time ever anywhere in the world readers of a catalogue could actually add items into a shopping cart and purchase directly from the brochure.
Cradle and All Over which featured engaging design and full screen video animations, was directly responsible for over 145,000 referrals to Sears.com, it generated click-through rates in excess of 70% and experienced average dwell times of over 6 minutes.
FMG also produced and built several other publications for the world's second biggest retailer - including the legendary Christmas offering the Holiday Wish Book, their annual Tools catalogue, their Workwear offering and their Outdoor Living brochure.
Digital catalogues and interactive publications were a natural progression for fashion retailers Boden - and FMG were the natural suppliers to launch them into the medium. We worked closely with the marketing, design and production departments to convert their publications from a traditional print and post delivery system to online and email blast.
With a hugely loyal following of existing customers already on the database we took several of their existing print magazines and redesigned and built them specifically to embrace the new technology, to include bespoke engaging editorial content and directly measurable URL links back their website so their customers could complete their purchases - with launches in the UK and USA markets.
The digital magazines were always successful exceeding ROI and profits over the previous paper publications.
